The design for the Hamburg Philharmonic Hall was conceived by the architects Herzog & de Meuron, who are collaborating with Höhler + Partner as general planners.

On the East side facing HafenCity a luxurious 5 star Westin Grand hotel is planned with 240 rooms, as well as Conference and Wellness areas in the old warehouse building. From the hotel rooms you can look out at HafenCity, the largest inner city development in Europe.The design of the hotel Westin Grand inside the Elbphilharmonie is based on a design by MRLV Architects, the design of the interior from bost berlin.

AUKETT + HEESE were appointed by HOCHTIEF Construction for the second phase of the working drawings package for the Hotel,Catering facilities, wellness facilities and a conference area.

The Elbphilharmonie has a total gross surface area of
approx. 120,000 m².
