The buildings Rothenburgstrasse 16/17 and Fichtenberg High-School form an urban ensemble at the foot of the Fichtenberg. The listed building Rothenburgstrasse 16-17 as a whole will be refurbished for use as a primary school.

AUKETT + HEESE were commissioned by the State of Berlin (Borough Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Serviceeinheit Immobilien) with the conversion of 3.000 sq.m. including 12 classrooms, other areas including kitchen and dining room and a new entrance pavilion for 330 pupils. Completion will be in phases.
